Kalsi Plastics Is Now Made in Britain Accredited

We are proud to announce that Kalsi Plastics has been awarded official Made in Britain accreditation. Following a full assessment of our operation, the Made in Britain organisation has verified that our building product ranges are genuinely manufactured here in the United Kingdom — and we can now display the recognised Made in Britain mark across our products, packaging and communications.

It is a credential we are genuinely proud of, because it puts an independent stamp on something that has been true since the day we started: Kalsi products are British-made.

Is Kalsi Plastics Made in Britain accredited?

Yes. As of June 2026, Kalsi Plastics Limited is a verified member of Made in Britain, the official organisation that certifies British manufacturers. Membership is not automatic — it is granted only after an assessment confirms that a company genuinely manufactures its products in the UK, and it is reviewed each year to ensure members continue to meet the criteria. For the merchants who stock our products and the contractors who install them, that means independent reassurance that the Kalsi range is the real thing.

What is the Made in Britain mark?

The Made in Britain mark is a collective trademark used by thousands of British manufacturers. Its distinctive Union Jack symbol has become a trusted signal of provenance: it tells customers, at a glance, that a product has been made in the UK. In a market where “British” branding is sometimes applied loosely to imported or merely re-packaged goods, an accredited mark cuts through the noise and removes the guesswork around where a product really comes from.

Why British manufacturing matters

Behind the mark sits a manufacturing operation we have invested in for more than three decades. Making our products here in the UK is not a marketing line — it shapes the service our customers receive every day:

  • Reliable supply and shorter lead times — our products travel from our factory to your branch in days, not weeks, without the uncertainty of international shipping.
  • Consistent, tested quality — manufactured under stringent quality control and tested to the relevant British and European Standards.
  • Direct accountability — a UK-based team you can actually speak to, backing every product with technical support and warranty.
  • Lower transport miles — domestic manufacturing means a shorter, lower-carbon journey from production line to project.
  • Supporting British jobs — every order helps sustain skilled manufacturing employment here in the UK.

Which products carry the mark

The accreditation covers the ranges we manufacture in-house, including our rainwater systems, PVC-U roofline (fascias, soffits and bargeboards), underground drainage, soil and waste systems, interior wall panelling, external cladding and MDPE pipe — sold under the Kalsi name and through our Aquaflow, Aquacel and Duraklad brands.

You will start to see the Made in Britain mark appear across our website, product literature and packaging over the coming weeks.

Accreditation you can trust

Made in Britain joins the accreditations our customers already rely on — including BBA, BSI Kitemark, WRAS approval and ISO 9001 — as part of our ongoing commitment to quality, transparency and British manufacturing.

Our thanks go to the whole Kalsi team, whose work on the factory floor is exactly what this mark represents.
