Product Description

Kalsi MDPE compression fittings are designed for jointing blue MDPE water pipe. All fittings are WRAS approved for use with drinking water. The compression grip ring design requires no special tools and creates a secure, leak-free joint.

Installation

Tools Required

Pipe cutter or hacksaw
Spanner or adjustable wrench
No PTFE tape required (seal is mechanical)

Method

Cut pipe square
Remove burrs
Mark insertion depth on pipe
Disassemble fitting
Slide nut and compression ring onto pipe
Insert pipe to marking
Hand tighten nut
Wrench tighten (2 full turns from hand tight)

Reuse

Fittings can be reused - replace O-ring if remaking joint.
